Recently, the company Subtec, part of Grupo Industrial Durandco, successfully carried out work on the program to support the community and the environment, known as PACMA.
This program is an initiative focused on providing support both to local communities and to the conservation of the natural environment, especially in areas close to oil exploration and production operations.
The work carried out by Subtec covered several Mexican states, including Puebla, Veracruz, Tabasco, Oaxaca and Chiapas.
Some of the work done by Subtec included:
● Delivery of two backhoes in Salina Cruz, Oaxaca.
● An additional backhoe loader in Santa María del Tule, Oaxaca, also in December 2022.
● Three agricultural tractors were delivered in Santa María del Tule, Oaxaca, in January 2023.
These teams have been essential to carry out various activities, including the maintenance of offshore facilities in the marine region.
These efforts are part of the SETMAR project, located in the southern region of Ciudad del Carmen.
● Subtec also provided crucial support for the construction and maintenance of equipment used in aquaculture production units.
This included the replacement of obsolete equipment in several areas such as aquaculture, management, science laboratories, environmental laboratory, naval mechanics, and technological study centers.
● Additionally, Subtec carried out the construction of a perimeter fence at the SETMAR 29 Technological Studies Center, as well as improvements to the parking area.
These works not only improved the facilities, but also contributed to the safety and efficiency of operations.
The implementation of the PACMA program in the municipalities where PEMEX operates is a testament to the company's commitment to the communities in which it operates, especially in emergency situations or natural disasters that require a quick and effective response.
