2024 is on track to be a great year in the Mexican oil industry.
By December, the Federal Government plans to complete the construction of seven oil platforms in the seas of the country's northeast. This, of course, means greater employment generation and barrel production.
Around 600 people work in two construction yards in the south of the state of Tamaulipas, but more activity is expected in the second half of this year.
In addition, talent comes to Ciudad del Carmen from Tamaulipas to support the maintenance of platforms at sea, as well as to Tuxpan (Veracruz) for the construction of platforms.
In this way, Mexico's oil industry is reinforced and the idea that it is a healthy, prosperous one with a long future, both in fossils and in renewables, is strengthened.
